Our gite was a residential property up until 1936. After that, it was used by a local farmer to store his cider barrels and apple press. We renovated it in 2004 and turned it in to a self-catering holiday gite
The Gite sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms. It has full central heating throughout and has a large log burner, making it suitable for holidays all year round.
There is an open plan lounge/diner with a galley-style kitchen area. The focal point of the room is the large original fireplace.
The lounge area has comfortable sofas, while the dining area has a pine table and six chairs.
The kitchen has fitted units with an integrated dual fuel cooker. There is also a refrigerator with a freezer compartment and a large selection of kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and serving dishes.
The television in the gite receives all Sky free channels and some French channels through Orange. There is a DVD and video player and a selection of DVD’s videos, games and books.
A patio door leads to the rear garden, where there is a garden table and chairs.
The bathroom has been fitted with a large shower cubicle and a sink unit. There is a separate toilet next to the bathroom.
One bedroom has a large oak double bed, with an oak wardrobe and side cabinet. The second bedroom has two painted pine single beds with a painted pine wardrobe and chest of drawers.
For our smaller guests there is a baby bath, travel cot, stair gate and high chair if required.
