NOTES FROM OUR GUESTS

Our sixth time here after first visiting in 2009. What better recommendation could there be? Well, a fabulous location whether you are after peace and quiet or an active holiday. The cottage is lovely, well equipped, as is the gite where we have stayed in the past. The games room is a great addition. But more than all that,😁 Jo and Jim are great hosts – helpful, friendly and great fun! We will definitely be back!!! James & Martin – September 2022

It is not easy to put such a wonderful experience into adequate words. From the minute we arrived right through to our departure we were made to feel welcome by Jo and Jim who did their utmost to ensure that we had everything we needed. As for the cottage: stunning, well appointed, spotlessly clean, in an idyllic setting…. If you are looking for that ‚time out‘ from the stresses of everyday life, this is the place to come. Even our dog Dante made a new friend in Hector. We can‘t await our return next year. Claudia Buffarello – July 2022

Thoughtful amenities, Historic building, Spacious rooms. We adored staying in the spacious well-appointed cottage. And to add to the comfort and beauty of the cottage was the wonderful view. Joanne, Jim and beagle Hector are most warm, welcoming and helpful, and made our stay perfect. Do ask for their fresh eggs.
We entertained friends at “our” private outdoor table and had lovely walks on the beautiful country roads with our family who live nearby. A perfect place to stay.
On the practical side, beside being a most bucolic place, there are the conveniences of a very convenient town as well the larger town of Lanvallay. Ronni & Dick – August 2021

We had a great time at Joanne and Jim’s –The welcome is perfect (it feels like home). The cottage is very well equipped, very clean, and very well located to visit St Malo, Mont Saint Michel, Dinan, Cap Fréhel…The pool room and ping pong table to end the days having fun is a very much appreciated… and much appreciated. Guillaume Legrand – February 2021

What a great place to be! – We had the best holiday so far with the most kind hosts Joanne and Jim. Nothing is to much for them and we felt very much at home in their beautiful cottage. We hope to com back next year. Ron Van Rijt – July 2020

Thoughtful amenities and spacious rooms – Myself and my husband stayed at Les Fougeres for a week . Our accommodation was the gite, of which was very comfortable and was well equipped . It had 2 spacious bedrooms that were very nicely decorated with lovely bed linen and comfortable beds. Jo and Jim were very welcoming and explained everything to us and where the local shops were , also they left us a folder full of information of where to go and how to get there. We had a fabulous week and are going to book another week next year as we didn’t get to do everything as there is so much to see and do . We would highly recommend you try this holiday. Dawn – September 2019

When we arrived, we immediately realised that we found a ‘GEM’ – We have been visiting ‘Brittany’ each year for the last 20 years and have experienced many holiday destinations and properties within this most beautiful area of France.
Wanting to leave behind the’ day to day stresses’ and ‘hustle and bustle’ of England   we were very, very keen to find a peaceful holiday gite and destination in ‘Brittany’. So, needing  to find somewhere ‘special’, we found and selected ‘Les Fougeres’. When we arrived, we immediately realised that we found a ‘GEM’ and throughout our  2 week period we continually appreciated  this ‘GEM’.
We received the most warm and genuine welcome from Joanne and Jim. They were only too pleased to offer any information and help that we requested. (By the way, their Hens lay beautiful eggs) Our ‘Gite’ was extremely clean, very ‘well-equipped’ and so very comfortable.
‘Les Fougeres’, is situated in lovely countryside and is about 4 miles from ‘Dinan’, a famous medieval town which is very peaceful with plenty of Restaurants that can be found both in the ‘upper’ area of Dinan as well as in  its ‘lower valley’ area situated on both sides of the River Rance.
We could not have found a better Gite to spend 2 weeks of peace and quiet.
It is in a superb location for visiting many lovely and interesting places in this part of Brittany.
Would we recommend ‘Les Fougeres’ ??? …You bet, as we said, it’s a ‘GEM’ !!! Derek & Vanessa – Date of arrival 29th June 2019

From the moment we arrived we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome – Jim guided us in off the road, welcomed us and introduced us to Jo. The cottage is beautifully furnished, decorated and equipped with everything you could need. Jo and Jim really have thought of everything. Really nice touches of fresh eggs, beer and wine in fridge as a wee welcome.
Jim helped us find some fantastic places to visit like the cycle path along the canal to Dinan and walks and close to the house for our dog. If you are a keen cyclist (which we are!) there are some amazingly quiet roads all around to explore! We would very much recommend a stay at Les Fougeres and we will definitely be back next year. Enjoy your cycle at the weekend guys! Let us know how you get on! Caroline & Stuart – Date of arrival 15th June 2019

We have been back for a second year to this lovely cottage in the countryside – The property is very spacious and comfortable, with three bedrooms (although we only used one) – the bed was very comfortable. Les Fougeres is well located with beautiful towns such as Dinan, Dol-De-Bretagne and St Malo all a short drive away. Easy access to the dual carriageway means that the beaches around St Malo are only half an hour away. Jo and Jim are perfect hosts – always on hand to help or advise if needed but happy to leave you in peace to enjoy your holiday. We had a wonderful three weeks here and have already booked for 2020! Tony & Jane – Date of arrival 25th May 2019

Truly welcoming place to stay – Had another fabulous week in the Gite at Les Fougeres a truly welcoming place to stay and will be returning again! We highly recommend this secluded little hamlet, ideally situated as everything is just a very short drive away. Joanne and Jim are such a friendly, helpful couple and make a great success of ensuring you have a great holiday. Ideally situated for exploring the superb coastline and the rural villages, don’t hesitate, just book it! Pauline, Frank & Pedro – Date of arrival 9th June 2018

Lovely place to stay – We have just spent a happy week in the Gite at Les Fougeres and wish it could have been longer. We were warmly welcomed by Jim and the lovely Joanne in their very well equipped and comfortable gite. They couldn’t have been more helpful. Les Fougeres is a good base for touring this part of Brittany. We enjoyed a day in the walled town of St. Malo and fresh oysters on the beach at Cancale as well as country walks locally. Our grateful thanks go to Jim and Jo for making our holiday so very pleasant and relaxing. We look forward to next year. Highly recommended! David & Alicia – Date of arrival 2nd June 2018

Highly recommend – We have just spent the last 2 weeks at Les Fougeres and would highly recommend staying with Jim and Jo who were the best hosts anyone could wish to meet. Helpful with day out options, directions and anything requested , perfect holiday and we would like to thank both of them for making our holiday such a fantastic and relaxing stay. Duncan B. – Date of arrival 19th May 2018

Fantastic – Fabulous holiday…the drive from Calais was lovely, the directions provided by Jo and Jim were spot on and we found our way to the cottage with no problems at all. Arrived in beautiful sunshine to a wonderful little cottage set in a small hamlet. Perfect place to either sit and relax but still close enough to be able to go out if wanted. Jim was kind enough to give us some great recommendations of places to walk our dogs. So much to see and do in the area…can’t wait to return! Paula W. – Date of arrival 7th May 2018

The house was equipped like advertised. In general everything was perfect  The place is great to relax and very quiet. You only might hear a car passing by sometimes and think that you are in a very remote place. On the one side this is true but on the other side it takes you less than 10 minutes drive to the very nice ancient town of Dinan and a big supermarket and less than 5 minutes to the motorway which brings you to St. Malo and to the coast. Except for the owners and maybe guests in the other house they rented you won’t see anybody if you don’t want to. Jo and Jim are great and very helpful. One minor defect with the shower we mentioned had been fixed immediately. The two give you the feeling that you are more a friend visiting than a guest who paid for. The pool, table tennis, dart and the big lawns are perfect for children. It was no problem that your dog emptied their dog’s feeding dish in their kitchen several times or that we dried our big rubber dinghy on their lawn. Ulli & Martin – Date of arrival 15th July 2017

Wonderful – We had a great week, Warmly welcomed by lovely owners Jim & Joanne. The cottage was beautiful and comfortable with a spacious garden that our little boy loved. Well situated, close to local amenities and the ferry at St Malo but in a lovely quiet, rural area. Made our first trip to France, perfect. Gilbie, Fiona & wee Gilbie From Islay – Date of arrival 8th July

The cottage was spotless and decorated to a high standard – We booked a holiday at the cottage for a fortnight in May. It’s always a worry booking a holiday for the first time but when we arrived we were greeted by a smiling Jim McKean along with resident dog Patch (more about Patch later). Jim showed us around the cottage and all our worries disappeared. The cottage was spotless and decorated to a high standard. It had everything you require to make a most enjoyable holiday. An extra bonus was the well manicured lawn and garden at the front for relaxing in the sun with a glass or two of wine. Jim and Joanne were on hand to help with any queries. If you were feeling energetic you can hire a bike from Jim and ride the almost traffic free roads and in almost every village there is a bar where you can enjoy some really nice coffee and chat with the friendly residents. Alternatively there are some fantasic walks just five minutes from the cottage. Have a word with Joanne or Jim and they will head you in the right direction. The cottage is located just a short drive away from the coast with its wonderful beaches and rocky coves. St Malo, Dinard and Dinan are easily reached from the cottage. The jewel in the crown is Mont St Michel which is awesome but be aware that it gets very very crowded during the peak season. We arived at 10.00a.m. and it was quite busy even then. Viewing the Mont for the first time was quite an emotional effect on both of us. Try to make time to visit the village of St Suliac which is right on the estuary of the Rance. We had a fine lunch outside looking across the estuary with all the boats moored. There was some work being done on one of the car parks but it should be finished by mid season. It did not detract from the enjoyment of the visit. If you have time visit Evran it is on the Canal de Rance where you can watch the boats enter and leave the lock. Ten minutes drive from the cottage is my all time favourite supermarket Super U. It is full of the most fabulous fruit and veg and a stunning fish and shellfish section. Try to be there when the fish is delivered. If you are on a diet or figure conscious keep well away from the patisserie section they have flans cakes and cookies to die for but there’s always Jim’s bike if you can’t resist. We have a Border Collie called Bess that persisted in acquiring Patch’s bones and toys. Patch was a true gentleman but revenge for him was sweet. He took Bess to a stream at the bottom of the garden to get Bess wet and muddy while he remained dry and clean. His revenge on me will have to remain a secret until you visit the cottage over a glass of wine ask Joanne and it will bring a smile to your face. Would we visit the cottage again? Yes we would again and again and possibly again. Jim and Joanne played a great part in enabling us to have a superb holiday. Maggie & Bob – Date of arrival 13 May 2017

The cottage is a wonderful place for a restful holiday – We were fortunate in the Spring weather. The house is beautifully set and the sunny table in front (see the photo) keeps the evening sunshine which meant that a drink outside even on early May evenings was still a pleasure. It is a fantastic place for a dog as there are terrific walks on the doorstep and the immediate area around the cottage is well away from the road. Patch the resident dog is also very welcoming! Joanne and Jim, who Patch keeps an eye on, are tremendous and helpful hosts providing a wealth of information on the area and – particularly significant for us – great guides to local restaurants and markets. They arranged our visit to the local vet before returning to the UK with our dog and overall could not have been more helpful. This part of Brittany is a delight. Dinan the closest large town is wonderfully atmospheric and walks along the Rance from it are fantastic after lunch. Cancale on the coast is glorious and a must for anyone who likes oysters. The astonishing number of ‘wild’ sandy beaches along the coast, set in glorious scenery are fabulous. I am sure in July and August the roads and towns are more crowded but we found traveling about easy and pleasant. And the bright, cosy, cottage is a great place to chill out – very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The only thing I would point out is that the bathroom is on the ground floor and the bedrooms upstairs. This was not an issue for us but I can imagine it might affect those with mobility problems. We have rented gites, flats, cottages and houses in Britain, France, Italy and Spain for some 30 years and I would unquestionably put this one in the top 5%. We look forward to returning.Tom Healy – Date of arrival 06 May 2017

Quiet, well maintained Gite with friendly owners – We had a very relaxed week in the Gite which had all the ameneties we required. A perfect location to visit St Malo, Dinard, Dinan and lots of smaller, yet worthwhile places. Joanne and Jim were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble and their knowledge of the local area very helpful. Shopping was easy with two supermarkets close by and the cooking facilities in the Gite made it easy to cook whatever we wanted. George and Annabelle Clarke – Date of arrival 02 July 2016

Lovely self catering accommodation in Brittany – Well appointed house, great views and lots to do in the area. We loved the beach at St Malo and the open air pool at Lehon. Joanne and Jim were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for things to do. Would also recommend the homemade jams and fresh eggs from the free range hens. Looking forward to our next visit! Mary Hudson – Date of arrival 23 July 2016

Perfect gîte in a lovely location – We recently stayed for a week in the gîte at Les Fougeres, and were incredibly impressed with both the gîte itself and the warm hospitality of the owners, who were a mine of information about the area. The gîte was spotless, well-furnished and had everything you could possibly need. We particularly enjoyed eating at Le Gentry Home on the recommendation of Jim and Joanne – a definite must if you like really good food! Bev Parkes – Date of arrival 23 July 2016

Lovely relaxing break – We have stayed at the property 6 years ago, & were delighted by the new arrival of a dishwasher. The cottage provides an ideal base to relax, in pretty grounds, the BBQ was well used by us, as was the pool. It’s not too far from anywhere, & lovely & quiet. The owners are friendly, there but not intrusive, & the decor is so pretty & well maintained. A lovely place that we will re-visit. Gill Meredith – Date of arrival 09 July 2016

Very clean, comfortable, cosy gite – Jo & Jim are the ideal hosts, making you feel welcome and “at home” immediately. They advised us where to shop, what to see and do during our stay. They have thought of every comfort and requirement for the gite, and we would definitely return for a future visit. Susan MacKenzie – Date of arrival 27 June 2016

Fantastic – We rented the cottage there were 4 adults and dogs. the location was perfect for exploring the area with St Malo,Dinan, and Dinard all within 20 minute drive. The accommodation was excellent ideal for self catering. Jim and Joanne were perfect hosts very friendly and helpful. there are plenty of local Hypermarkets close by from which to stock up. The harbour area at Dinan is a must visit there are so many restaurants to choose from, we have recommended this property to our friends as we could not fault it. Ian Donaldson – Date of arrival 5 May 2016

Highy Recommend – We stayed in the cottage and it was extremely homely, very clean and the beds were very comfy. The kitchen had all the essentials ie.. wine glasses/cork screws etc.. The outside area was lovely and peaceful, there was a table and chairs and a Barbeque and a lovely garden area which our dogs loved and there was also some great walks right on our doorstep. Jo & Jim were extremely friendly and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble they made our stay very enjoyable and we would go back in a heartbeat especially at those daily rate prices (money well spent) Donna Donaldson – Date of arrival 5 May 2016

We’ve been here 10 times now that must say something! See you next year Joanne & Jim. Martin & Lynda Posted: Oct 07, 2015

We have just returned from a week stay at Les Fougeres, and there was one word to describe it  WOW! We stayed in the Gite and it had all the finishing touches of being at home, very clean with everything available to make our stay comfortable. We had a bottle of wine on arrival, lovely touch! The location is wonderful with only a short drive to the shops, local attractions and beaches. Jim and Jo have been the perfect hosts, very welcoming and attentive to our requirements. Many thanks for making our stay with you so relaxing and enjoyable. We hope to see you next year. Steve & Deb Posted: Sep 18, 2015

Well, this was our second time in the cottage  And it was even better than the last time, if that’s possible. We loved it every minute and are already planning our next stay. La Coupaudais is a lovely little hamlet in the middle of nowhere, yet so amazingly close to supermarkets, local villages, complete with bakeries, Tabacs and low profile high quality restaurants. The surrounding area is a must for exploring and Jim and Jo will provide all the information you might require, although there already is a folder in the cottage with enough local info to get you going. Get some bread, cheese and cider in for the evenings and your walking boots on for the nearby forest during the daytime. Then, when you fancy a drive out, visit the stunning medieval town of Dinan, and the seaside gems of Dinard and St Malo. If you want to spend some time away from it all in rural France, close to amenities and the sea, we’d recommend nothing better than Les Fougères. Rob & Donna Posted: Sep 17, 2015

We have just stayed in the gite for 1 week and would highly recommend it! – On-site owners were attentive and helpful. Wine and beers in fridge gave a nice welcoming touch. The gite is in a nice rural setting and well furnished with good quality comfy sofas. And a treasure trove of books – novels, local information books, leaflets, humour books etc – and a great selection of games and puzzles for relaxing on days in. Our 6-y-o son is now a chess expert! Kids beach toys and deck chairs are available to borrow if you want to. The gite exceeded our expectations! Dawson Family Posted: Aug 18, 2015

We stayed at The Cottage in July 2015 – The accommodation was immaculately clean and a real home from home, with all that we could have wanted …. from candles to salad spinner! Les Fougeres is within a beautiful countryside setting, with walks and wonderful views on from the doorstep. Yet, stunning towns such as Dinan, Dinard, Comburg and Saint-suliac were all well within an hours drive. We had a fabulous day out at the Parc Zoologique de la Bourbansais, which was only 10 minutes away too. Joanne and Jim were such the perfect hosts. We are not used to staying at properties where the owners are also on site, but we soon realised what a bonus this was! We arrived on a Sunday and, given that the shops were closed, they had proactively kindly got some supplies in for us. The wine and cheese helped us to instantly relax! (Sorry for sharing this bit Joanne, but we appreciated it under the circumstances!). Joanne and Jim really did help us to get the most out of our holiday by sharing their local knowledge and experiences and there is a comprehensive book covering local markets etc within the property too. Joanne and Jim’s local knowledge was also invaluable when one of us was taken ill and needed to see a doctor quickly. Joanne and Jim really went above and beyond to make this happen, for which we are so grateful. The property, setting, location and Joanne and Jim themselves made our stay in Brittany such a special family holiday. Steph, Clive and Martha Posted: Aug 13, 2015

This was our first visit to the Gite at Les Fougeres in July 2015 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay – Joanne & Jim are very friendly and welcoming and have done an amazing job on the property. The Gite provided us with a home from home with a well equipped kitchen, tastefully decorated living space with wifi and TV included. The enclosed garden allowed us to relax with our dog on his first holiday in France. Les Fougeres is situated in a quiet country setting but with in easy reach of Dinan, St Malo, Dinard & Rennes. We enjoyed our first holiday here so much that we have already booked for next year. Mark, Linda, Fiona & Dyno Posted: Jul 16, 2015

Thank you for an epic trip we all enjoyed our holiday and staying in your beautiful cottage! – We really loved it! And the area was perfect for exploring! Thank you for making us so welcome you treated us like family nothing was too much trouble, Tessie loved having patch a playmate too. Hope to be back again soon! The murphs! X Murphy family Posted: Jul 11, 2015

This is our second visit to the cottage – It is a beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings. The cottage is beautifully furnished with everything you might need for a family holiday. There is so much to do in the area, we still have a list of places we want to visit (so will be back again!). The owners are very hospitable and welcoming and were available to answer any queries. Was a fab holiday, highly recommended and we will definitely return! Nicola Thorndale Posted: Jun 04, 2015

We have been visiting Les Fougeres for over 10 years – To begin with, as a newly married couple, and now as a family of 4. We have also introduced other family members to the delights on offer. The location never ceases to enthral us and we are still finding new things to do and visit. The accommodation is immaculate with lovely decor, keeping in a traditional French theme with a modern twist. All the amenities are included, fully equipped kitchen, use of a barbecue, washing facilities and additional freezer space. Beautiful landscaping in a beautiful setting. The location means that you can do as little or as much as you want. There is a guidebook supplied with lots of thorough information regarding sights, towns, markets, opening times, museums to visit, etc. The owners are very welcoming and friendly hosts who are on hand to offer help and information if required. Looking forward to next year! Tamasine atkins Posted: Jun 01, 2015

My family stayed in the gite for 2 weeks in July 2014  The gite was so well situated. Peaceful, idyllic but still close to all the amenities you could possibly need. The kids absolutely loved having the pool there and would often ask to go back to the gite so they could enjoy playing in the pool and garden. There is so much to see in the area and everything is within easy reach. I would highly recommend this gite and my kids are already asking when we can go back! Thank you for providing a wonderful home away from home. Helen Kay Posted: Aug 17, 2014

We stayed at the cottage in July 2013 and had a wonderful time – The cottage is like a home from home & very well equipt with everything you need for a wonderful holiday. We had beautiful weather and loved dining on the outside seating with views of the countryside. The pool was great for cooling off in. The location was just what we wanted, quiet and peaceful but near to places to visit and local services. I can’t recommend a stay in this lovely cottage highly enough. Lynn and Mike Posted: Feb 26, 2014

We stayed at the cottage in early October. What an absolutely wonderful place! – The cottage itself is well equipped, homely and situated in beautiful surroundings. The villages and the towns in the area are medieval in character and cater for the most adventurous food connoisseurs. The beach at Dinard is to die for and do not miss a trip down the coast further West. St Malo, Dinan and Le Mont St Michel are all worth a day each and the local forest provides hours of peace should you need it. Jim and Jo have made sure that there is ample entertainment for those days you want to spend at the cottage or the gîte. All you got to do is drive down to the local supermarket, get stocked up on cheeses, meats, the incredibly delicious bread and some local cider, and then relax in the garden till the sun goes down. And what made our stay there even better was that we got unbelievably lucky with the weather. What more could you ask for? Thank you, Jim and Joe, we loved it! Rob and Donna Posted: Dec 02, 2013

Our third time here in 5 years. As usual, very relaxing – helped by the brilliant weather (lucky us!). This was a chill-out week so we didn’t tour that much – but even after 3 visits there’s still plenty to see and do. Jim and Joanne were very welcoming and friendly and we hope to be back soon! James and Martin Posted: Oct 04, 2013

We had great week staying in the lovely and well furnished Gite – with our boys aged 11 and 7. They loved the pool and played in the garden with the children staying in the cottage, giving us plenty of child free relaxation! Our favourite day was a walk through the local forest, enjoying the sunshine and a picnic. Mont St Michel is as beautiful as it was the last time we stayed at Les Fougeres 10 years ago – and we won’t be waiting that long to return. Thanks Jim and Jo! xx Martin and Veda Harrison Posted: Sep 16, 2013

We had a brilliant holiday at Les Fougeres and had both the cottage and the gite to accommodate the entire family – ourselves, children and spouses and grandchildren!! Both properties are amazing as is the location… so peaceful. It was just perfect for what we wanted, the grandchildren loved being able to wander between the two properties in search of someone to play with them and everyone enjoyed the garden and the pool!!Everything is provided for a stress free holiday thanks Joanne and Jim for the opportunity to enjoy your home. carol kilbey Posted: Aug 17, 2013

We had a wonderful stay at Les Fougeres. The setting is idyllic and the cottage beautiful. I especially appreciated the lovely bedding and spotless kitchen. Our boys loved the pool and garden games.I am reluctant to say too many nice things as this place needs to be kept secret!!! Jim and Joanne … not sure how you can bear to share. lynn coxon Posted: Jul 27, 2013

We stayed here for a week with our two adult children and two small dogs  The gite is well situated in lovely countryside and not too far from beaches. We learnt at the very end that the French pay little attention to the “No Dogs” rule on beaches….The gite was ideal for us and we all really enjoyed our time there. Thank you for providing a lovely place, nd hopefully we will return one day. Jim and Sue (August 2012) Jim and Sue Posted: Oct 29, 2012

What a fantastic cottage in such a peaceful location! – There were six of us in total; two children, two grandparents and us two. We found the cottage to be really well equipped and very much enjoyed eating outside on those hot summer evenings. We all used the pool, the kids especially had a ball in it! We visited Mont St Michel which was spectacular and loved our days on the beach. Weather superb! We enjoyed watching the Olympics on the BBC, which is really handy when you have kids with you. Kevin took the kids to Cobac park and had a fab time. Great week! Perfect! We will definitely be back!! Xx April and Kevin Hann Posted: Aug 29, 2012

This is our second attempt at posting comments in the guest book so here goes! – We visited Les Fougeres for 2 weeks at Easter this year, our second visit & we had a wonderful time. We discovered the coast road From St Malo & found loads of beautiful little beaches & ruins to explore. The kids & the dog had a ball & we will definately be back next year! We were also fortunate enough to meet Jo & Jim the owners who were extremely welcoming & helpful. Looking forward to 2013!! Susan & Michael Posted: Aug 11, 2012

We have just returned after a 2 week stay in the Gite. Really lovely location – so peaceful.  The bakers in Lanvally (close to Intermarche supermarket) is a must as their croissants and cakes are to die for! Beaches are beautiful and you have to visit Mont St Michel! Will definitely return to this house but this was our first visit to France and have so many other places to visit too. Book here though and you definitely wont be disappointed – we were very sad as we had to come home! Alison Ross Posted: Jul 18, 2012

A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting, very peaceful and lots to keep young kids amused – Cobac park was great for them too without using the water slides still enough for a good day out, take your own food though. We had an amazing sunny week at the cottage.– Very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The owners thought of everything you needed from plenty of kitchen utensils and garden furniture/outdoor games. The sunloungers were so comfortable.Cottage well located for North Brittany and so many things to do.We would definately go back and wish we had stayed for 2 weeks!!! Debra Jarvis Posted: Jul 22, 2010

We stayed in the cottage at the end of June 2010 & were delighted with the property. The pool was particularly welcome as the weather was so hot & by late afternoon it was lovely & warm in there. We were also impressed when we found the sunloungers in the utility room &, although our boys are 20 & 22, we felt sure that the selection of outsdoor toys would be really popular with little ones. You seem to have thought of everything that your guests would need, thank you for letting us share your holiday home. gill meredith Posted: Jul 17, 2010

Arrived at the gite for visit number 4 – Welcoming cat who waits at the door, Some like cats, but others may scoff, Concerned it responds to the name “Bugger off”! Brittany’s good as we visit each year, Sightseeing, walking and a glass of good cheer, Restful & quiet and lots to see, It never disappoints Lynda & me. Martin & Lynda Ibbitt Posted: Sep 29, 2009
